Ds3 tool triggers don't work right

Hi so I use better ds3 tool for my PS3 controller to play Gta 5 and I go to car meets, in these car meets we cruise around and it's hard for me to keep my speed because my r2 (gas) only knows how to go fully down or not on, basically I could be holding down r2 the slightest bit and the ds3 tool just thinks I'm holding it down all the way, is there a way to resolve?

AFAIK there is not a real way to do this, the controller to PC connection registers an on or off state, not gradients.
I do not really see how thats an issue though, how do you think KB+M players drive? Its either all or nothing.
