I put the motherboard on a textbook I have so that I could install my gpu (the connectors are almost against the end of the slotted area so i can't connect a cable with the gpu in the machine). When I went to turn the power on nothing came on but the machine works fine if the motherboard is mounted in the case.
can i test bench on a book or does it need to be on a metal surface?
