ASUS Z170-P D3 Bios update problem!

Hi. So i bought a new mobo and i updated bios to newest version.
Now I'm trying to update to previous version but I can't.
I try every possible way to do it and nothing.When I'm trying From bios ez flash message appears "selected file is not proper bios"
Please help.

Well you must have flashed the wrong bios. If you got that message

Did you extract the file before you flashed it?

So you tried to flash BIOS 0601? If it doesnt work guess they stopped you from going backwards

Have a read of the manual.And see if you have to rename that file in the zipped file.

It looks like that error may mean the filename is wrong.

If you can remember the name of the latest BIOS you flashed, rename it to that

Please make sure the BIOS file you download matches the model no.of Motherboard and version for update is more updated than current one so BIOS can only upgrade,instead of degrading.
just find it on asus website

You sure you've got the right BIOS?? There's a Z170-P and a Z170-P D3. They're not the same mobo

I have a feeling you're trying to use the wrong BIOS on the P
