My preference is for air coolers because they are typically cheaper and you have less potential for leaks and fewer components to fail. Some will argue that watercooling is quieter, but not only does a watercooler have one or more fans, but also has the pump. It really depends on what you're comparing. The Cryorig cools as well as some AIO coolers and unless you are running an extreme overclock 24/7, I don't see a real need for water.
