I don't see the Core I7-5820K on the CPU support list for that motherboard. That is likely the issue.

Ok. What BIOS version are you running? Versions H3, H6, and H7 all improved VGA compatibility. If you're running anything earlier that H7, I'd probably go ahead and update to at least that version.
