ADSL2+, + ,Asus RT-AC5300?

I will soon be moving to a new suburb which doesn't support NBN yet so I will sign up for a ADSL2+ plan. Will my Asus RT-AC5300 be the only hardware I need for connecting to the internet through the wall socket ? Or do I need to purchase additional hardware?

You will need an adsl2+ modem, this Asus RT-AC5300 does not have integrated modem.

Exactly, if you want to share internet with router. You can connect modem through Ethernet connection with your PC.

You better ask NBN customer service. I think ADSL2+ ISP might give\rent you a modem.
