Hello,

I gather that there are various topics of this kind already open, but this issue is a little more specific.

I was worried about the temperature of my gpu at the time so I installed some old drivers in the hope to get it working at a lower temperature (it was around 80 whilst playing games).

Now the entire thing waits at boot, whenever I try to load startup repair the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive so I can't select anything (the keyboard seems to register key tapping by turning the caps lock on and off each time any key is tapped).

I can't even use the windows 7 disk to try to illicit some kind of repair because the keyboard and mouse refuses to function here too.

I press F8 repeatedly and yet there is no option to boot in safe mode, only the choice to boot from other devices.

Bios loads into a two choice system, start windows normally, or perform startup repair. The former just shows the loading screen for lengthy periods of time, with seemingly no active response.

I'd prefer to fix this without having to reinstall/reformat, but if that must occur to fix this then so be it.

Recent addition: the issue seems to have resolved itself, the wait was surprisingly not as long as I had thought previously and had succeeded in booting to windows.

My plan now is to try to install the proper drivers from the disk for my amd r9 270x Gpu. I'm conducting a system restore to before the time when I first installed the drivers. What is the most efficient way to properly uninstall video drivers? My thanks in advance
