Hi! My FX-8150 gets pretty hot, I've been reading about it, and everyone says over 61C is bad. When I stresstest with a pretty good aftermarket cooler, and just enough thermal paste to cover the heatspreader. I get 70C without problem, even when I undervolt the CPU. Does someone have a good Volt setting so my CPU won't get too hot?

The 8150 was a hot chip back then any way, I would suggest getting a better cooler for it in general like a cooler master hyper evo 212, its effective and inexpensive. And as for your voltage I would set your bios to default and let it do its own thing and purchase a new cooler. Maybe use your i5 in the mean time.

Just ordered a Fractal Design Kelvin S24, and I hope I can get some low temps and try to overclock instead of underclock.

I tried it, worked fine. BUT when I stresstesten my cpu at 4,7Ghz it's started to make a beeping noise after 3 min, it scared the sh*t out of me... x)
