Hello everyone. I am fairly new to PC gaming and just built a new desktop. I am wondering about GPU/CPU usage and their long term affects. My short list of specs would include an Asus Maximus viii Formula motherboard, Intel i7-6700k w/ liquid cooling, A Zotac 1070 AMP Extreme with 8GB VRAM, 16GB RAM. I have tested a couple games since the build and for instance, GTA V maxed out is sitting at 99% GPU usage, memory usage for the GPU is in the 25-50%, CPU usage is in the 20-30% range and my temps for both GPU and CPU are the the 50-60 degrees c range. With the GPU usage being so high, is there any long term affects that could harm it? I will also add that in GTA V I have been getting an average of 100 FPS. It would appear that the system is running properly. I have seen mixed answers about this question and any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You are fine. The gfx card is supposed to be able to run at 100% usage in a strong system. That means it is not holding back. And the GPU is designed to run continuously at 100% usage as long as temps are good. Your temps are good.
