Buying PC parts from "Multiple" different countries? Will they work together?

First of all, a "few" facts about my current predicament. I am from australia, and in australia we use the 230 OR 240 Voltage system (some sources say 230 some say 240 some say both?) running at 50hz. So here is the question everyone. I am looking to build my first PC, and i have found all the parts i need, however, some of those parts are from other countries, "multiple different countries" actually, so i was wondering whether or not the "parts" would work together or not? Would they use the same voltage? For example say i buy a motherboard from america which uses 120 Voltage and 60hz and i got the rest of my parts from australia, would the motherboard only be capable of working on a 120V 60hz system? If i tried to start up the motherboard in australia would the motherboard be overloaded with electricity and "blow up" or worse?

And is there any useful information that anyone could share that would benefit with my research or my compatibility problem or with building my PC?

I am mostly asking this question because some monitors which i have looked at said their voltage range was from 120/240 and 50hz to 60hz, so i am unsure if i can buy parts from other countries and have them work together?
Because the worse thing that could happen is my is that the parts get destroyed and i waste lots of money.

Sorry if this sounds like i dumb question, although i know a lot about PC parts themselves, i lack certain fundamental knowledge when it comes to the "interoperability" of parts from "different" countries

Solution
Never heard of any thing like this, but it should surely work... As the psu is responsible for powering up the motherboard...
It should not blow up, as long as the Power Supply is OK (I mean, ok with the 240 voltage).
It should work... Go for it

Thankyou, so much for your answer. I knew that the PSU was responsible for power but i did not know if the motherboard or any other part were specifically designed for a certain voltage or or certain country, so i just assumed the possibility that they might be designed to handle only specific voltages :)

Also would it be possible for you to give me your opinion on my build? It took me weeks to compare all the different parts so i would really like a second opinion on whether all the parts are a good match or not?

My Build parts are:

Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

Cooler Master Nepton 240M 76.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

GeIL 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory

OCZ RevoDrive 350 Series 240GB PCI-E Solid State Drive

Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB G1 Gaming Video Card

Thermaltake Chaser A71 ATX Full Tower Case

Antec 750W 80+ Platinum Certified ATX Power Supply

Pioneer BDR-209DBK Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

SIIG CN-GP1111-S1 PCI-Express x4 10/100/1000 Mbps Network Adapter

Asus USB-AC56 USB 3.0 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter

LG 29UM68 29.0" 75Hz Monitor

Logitech G19s Wired Gaming Keyboard

SteelSeries Diablo III 57002 Headset

So What do you think? :)

Oh sorry, i should have said before, the motherboard was just for the example, i am buying the motherboard from my own country :)

Also on another thread, i put my parts up and some people suggested changing the mother board from the z170 gaming 7 to the z170 extreme 4+ and to also change the the graphics card from a GTX 970 to the RX480 Red Devil AND also to change my Revodrive SSD to a Samsung 50 Evo

What is your opinion about the changes?

That link is for the RX480 4GB the person who suggested the RX480 said to get the RX480 Black Devil which is "8GB"??

I think its because the Processor Technology for the GTX 970 is "28nm" while the Processor Technology for the RX480 is "14nm" Processor Technology?

I have 1 final question, you see i am planning on uses my PC for graphics intensive games while streaming to twitch.tv and i will also be doing video editing and 3D rendering and 3D modelling later? So i was wondering which would be better to suit what i have planned?

I have a question, would it be better to get the RX40 8GB or the GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 ???

The RX 480 is equal to (or slightly stronger than) the 970
I'd argue that with twice the vram (that monitor is 2560x1080?) & the fact that historically amd cards performance doesn't reduce anywhere near as much through the generations , that the 8gb 480 is a better choice if similarly priced.ergo the 1069 - on a personal level I'd take the amd card still.
The 1070 though is in an entirely different league both performance & price wise.
Can you afford one ?? If so go for it.

Regarding mains voltages, all good PSUs (that antec included ) do auto 120/230/240v switching.
You're better buying fro.your own country simply to get the right cable & for warranty - vice versa the monitor

Thankyou so much for the info, i have changed my mind and am considering either the RX480 8GB OR GTX 1060 maybe even the 1070. If i can get the 1070 would it be better to do so? what would the advantages be?

Thankyou, i will have a look at those links now. Also my budget for all my parts is around $2,000-$3,000 and thats for everything. so i am not sure if i should go for the 1080 since it is about $800 when the 1070 is around $500, although i will need the 1080 for 3D modelling, i will not be doing 3D modelling for about 6 months or so, and by then i could just buy the 1080 later.

But for now, i need to know if the 1070 is good for streaming on twitch.tv and also for creating 2Dn flash games. :)

I am not exactly sure what dx is actually sued for, but just to be on the safe side, i would rather have dx, also are those benchmarks just for 3D graphics? or are they for "overall" performance?

And thankyou for your answer, every new answer is making my final decision clearer :)

Honestly i am so confused? On here http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-980-Ti-vs-GeForce-GTX-1070
when comparing the 980 Ti to the 1070 it says that the 1070 is better? but this other site says that the 980 Ti is better?? Why do they have different results?

And sorry for the slow replies, my current PC is SUPER SLOW!

Dont rely on anything like gpu boss.... According to my knowledge the best comparision result is given by user benchmark.... I referred you by Game debate before as it is easy to understand...
Dont worry, my replies are fast as I am using a Smartphone

the 1070 is slightly stronger than the 980ti (not noticeable really though)
Its a newer chipset,its more efficient,it runs cooler,it has 2gb more vram.

Only even consider the 980ti if you get a truly amazing deal on it - the 1070 is better in every single way.

If your 3d modelling software supports cuda rendering then the 1070 is good enough,if it doesnt & your running software based then you wnat to be building with a very fast skylake i5 minumum or better an i7.

the 1080 is absolute overkill for 95% of pc users imo,

lol, i am sure your smart phone is better than the laptop i use. The laptop i use has 3GB RAM and NO graphics card! :) So your Smart Phone is definitely better than this laptop.

So if i was to take these things into consideration:

3D Modelling

3D Rendering

2D stuff (i am planning on making 1 or 2 flash games before i start 3D modelling)

Playing Graphics intensive games (at max graphics and 60 fps)

Live Streaming to Twitch.tv (not sure what the minimum requirements for twitch are)

Which card would come out on top in each situations?? :)

Thankyou for the important info :) I am going to buy the Skylake i7 6700K so it should be good enough, i chose the i7 based in its ability to Hyperthread, Also what is cuda? As i have only recently decided to learn about 3D modellng i must admit that i am deficient in a lot of the technical knowledge surrounding 3D modelling.

One more thing, would the 1070 be capable of running "Crysis", as i have heard that Crysis is current;y the most graphics intensive game, knowing whether or not i would be able to play Crysis would give me an indicator as to the 1070 performance :)

cuda rendering is sofware reliant mate,so it depends what mdoelling software youre actually using.
If it supports gpu rendering though the chances are it supports cuda rendering which is available on the nvidia cards.

http://blog.digitaltutors.com/top-five-gpus-to-power-your-3d-vfx-or-game-dev-system/

top 5 cards recommended as of a year ago for this use,the only one out of those that beats a 970 is the titan.

the 1070 is an absolute beast of a card be it for gaming or for gpu based rendering tasks.

capable of running crysis?? you mean crysis 3 ,a walk in the park at max settings.

a 6700k & a 1070 is quite simply a monster of a setup no matter what youre planning on doing.

OK That tech Guy! What I found is that 980 ti and and 1070 are about the same, ( 980 ti being a slightly better, while 1070 being more recent )... I will finally suggest you 1070 as it is the second fastest gpu currently available... It can handle any thing undoubtfully.
