Headphones not working

I bought brand new Audio Technica M40 yesterday, and they were working fine. But all of a sudden, the right ear started to fade out the sound, and now only the left ear is working. What do I do?

1. Test the audio device with another set of headphones.

2. If the second set is fine, consider an RMA to manufacturer.

3. If they are out of warranty or your lazy and willing to lose the headset. Open it up and check for broken solder joints
