does the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 GPU fit in the NZXT H440 case

hey guys im looking at buying a gpu, specifically the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070. the only problem i have with this gpu is the length. The full gpu should fit if i take out a few hardrive bays, but i am worried about the 8pin power connector. Because gpu is so long the 8pin connector is very close to a panel which could block the connector. please can you guys help me, and if anyone has put an Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 in a H440 case please send me a photo

You will have to remove a drive bay.

For the width... Your case supports CPU coolers up to 180mm tall, the card is 134mm wide, plus 15-20mm for hefty stiff cables that don't want to bend right away... It'll fit.
