Hi,
I bought an x61 about a month ago and whilst tweaking my case fan settings to make them more quiet, I noticed just how loud the rattling was. I have tried to do the fix when you set the fan curve to 100% in bios, but no luck. The sound is really quite annoying but I still get good temps.
Any ideas? I just dread the idea of having to RMa, as it would cause great hassle.
