Okay... So it all started with a motherboard beeping that told me to reseat GPU, it was working fine too just beeping so I wanted to make sure it was seated, well after I reseated it....I don't have any beeps but a black screen and keyboard and mouse are powered. I have troubleshooted everything, the ram is okay, the slot is okay, I used my old card and it works just fine. People in the forums told me it's dead. Just wanna see if there is any way it's something else, I already tried reinstalling the drivers with DD. I gotta new 750 EVGA b2 and I believe it's all hooked up right to gpu.. So what do y'all think.
Bought it used btw, 6 months used and guy said he cleaned PC often.

Put the 290x card back in the pci-e slot of the motherboard.

Lift the card up over towards the top of your PC tower based system and while doing so, at the same time tighten the retaining screw on the cards support bracket to the System case.

See if it is not just because the card has either started to bend along the circuit board, or that the weight of the card it`s self is pulling away from the up most set of gold pins of the Pci-e cards finger board.

That may be causing a slight break in contacts of the Pci-e card slot it`s self as said on the upper most edge of the pins in the slot.

It can often happen as cards get older due to the constant heating and cooling, and the circuit board of the card bending or warping due to it plus...

It can often happen as cards get older due to the constant heating and cooling, and the circuit board of the card bending or warping due to it plus the weight it has to deal with from the cooling solution fitted to the graphics card ok Arbiterrecon.

It`s worth a try even if you think the card may be broke due to something else.
It may be that, or that the gpu on the card needs to be re flowed in order for it to work again due to bad solder contacts between the gpu chip it`s self and the circuit board of the graphics card.
