Hello all,
This is my first post. I Love this site!
I need help with choosing the right sized HB SLI Bridge for 2 ZOTAC GTX 1080 AMP Extremes. The card is huge. One card takes up 3 slots. To deal with the size of the cards, I purchased the biggest case I could find. The CM Cosmos 2. I plan on putting the cards into my RAMPAGE V EXTREME/U3.1 Motherboard. I wont have the new GPU's for a few days so I have no way of measuring.
Here are the links to what I am working with:
My Mobo: http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/RAMPAGE_V_EXTREMEU31/overview/
New Case: http://www.coolermaster.com/case/ultra-tower/cosmos-2/
The GPU: http://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/zotac-geforce-gtx-1080-amp-extreme-review,4.html
UPDATE - Added a PC Parts Picker Link:
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/kmycbj
If I put one card in the top slot, and then the 2nd in the very bottom, should I buy a 3 or 4 slot bridge? I plan on getting the new HB for the Pascal cards.
I can't seem to find any info anywhere.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
