When i boot up my pc, it says,

"choose an operating system
windows 10 (on volume 4) will run in 21 sec

then there are two windows logos and next to them is labeled "windows 10 on volume 4)"

...basically im told to boot from a choice of two drives...but they are the same/ any way to fix it?

i built the pc yesterday, had a problem, so i resetted pc and windows was reinstalled

nvm i got it fixed, when i reinstalled...
Basically, you have either two installs of windows on the same drive.

Or you have an older operating system on the same drive as the windows 10 install.

What you should of done after installing windows for the first time if the drive was new and did not contain another operating system at all SnowMare.

Was during the second run or install of windows 10, choose the advanced disk options on the page where it asks you where do you want to install windows 10 to, or what hard drive.

You should of formatted the drive again, and once done.
Then click on the next button to continue the windows 10 os install.

Then option of booting from two Os, or selecting one or the other would go away.

With installing windows 10 twice you have created what we call a multi boot environment.

And why you see two options for booting windows 10 with a 21 second timer delay.
