will this power supply be good to run the gtx 980 ti classified gaming edition I know it needs 2 8 pin connectors which this psu has will it be enough power not gonna oc at least not unless I can :) It sort of has to be this psu because it is the only one that I can think of that will fit in my case

Solution
Get this combo, GTX 980 performance at a lower price with lower voltages. ;)
Should be great for a VR rig.
Give me a budget for your whole build and I can do a full PC list for you.

well i need a psu thats exactly these dimesions 5.51 x 5.91 x 3.35 inches Im willing to spend around 50 to 70 bucks on a power supply for that gpu the 700 b1 wont work? currently I have a gtx 960 and cx 600 watt i am uprading to the 980 ti scuase on amazon it was only 500 but Ill need a new psu one with 2 8 pin connectors wait so u said most power supplies are the same dimensions how come on amazon it says the dimesions are different I looked up the dimensions for the 550 the one u suggested and it was 15.8 x 12.4 x 11.3 inches i am open to anything price wise as long as it will fit in my case which is 13 x 6.9 x 16.2 inches

What about a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB GAMING ACX 2.0, will this work with the 700 b1 psu I just kind of want some sort of 980 for a vr rig

Because some listings on stuff like Amazon are the box dimensions, not the PSU.
Also DO NOT get the GTX 980, if you want less power get the GTX 1060 or 1070 over the 980 and 980ti respectively if you're buying new.

Well I think Im gonna go with the gtx 1070 superclocked instead of a 980 or ti it will be paired with my amd fx 8350 not getting a vive getting an ocvulus so it will just rely on graphics does that sound ok or is this a bad combo?
