Hi all,
So this is my rig
Ga b150m d3h
Intel i5 6600
16gb ddr 4
Fury x
250 gb Kingston ssd
Cougar csx 1000

PC was running great until I wanted to install win 10 in uefi.
Disabled csm to boot off uefi USB media.
PC won't post.
No beeps, no screen, nothing.
All my fans spin up but nothing.
I noticed my Fury x doesn't power up, no leds on boot.
Removed cmos battery and replaced to reset bios, no dice. Still nothing.
Can someone please help?

That`s because as you have figured out you do not disable CSM or Compatibility Support mode off in your bios.

It` is used for old devices that have a Legacy bios on them, and for new devices that have an updated Uefi capable bios on them.

And most systems have a mix of both types of cards or hardware fitted to them and running at the same time.

Pull the fury card.
Reset the bios back to factory defaults.
Connect the monitor video lead to the video ports on your motherboard.

Power the system up.
Set the Sata interface mode to Ahci mode.
The default graphics card to initialise first to Pci-e display mode.

And the boot order of devices back to the order you had them set to in your bios.

Enable CSM mode again.
Selecting the hardware...

Selecting the hardware detection order of Legacy / Uefi.

Save the changes before you exit your bios Devildjinn.

With the system turned off place your Fury X card back in the Pci-e card slot of the motherboard, with all the required power for it from the Psu.

Then connect your monitor video lead cable back to the Fury X cards video output ports.
And next time don`t disable CSM mode ok.

Power the system up and it will boot.
Make any further changes you may need to make to the bios settings there after.

Thanks for the help.
Had to reset the bios via jumpers as battery pull didn't work.
Yes I think I misunderstood the purpose of csm, back up and running.
Installed win10 using uefi.
I remember I had to set ahci for ssd on an older board, but this one didn't have that option under sata configuration, can I expect issues from this?

I'm having exactly the same issue as you listed except I don't have a CPU with onboard graphics so the motherboard's video ports in theory won't work. Would this method still work fine with a low-power GPU seated on a pci-e slot? I figure since I'm resetting the bios, the pci-e lanes should be functional, as far as I know.
