XFX 7990 power required cords?

So I was thinking of getting this XFX 7990. But I only have a 6+2 pin pci-e and a 6 pin pci-e. Does it need both? If it does, is there an adapter to make a 6-pin into an 8-pin?

it needs both

do not use adapters, 8-pin is rated at twice the power of a 6-pin

if you want that card ( you dont unless REAL cheap ) you need to get a proper psu with the cables you need

I looked into it, and do ya think a dual molex to single 8 pin would work? I think thats enough power. Also its super cheap the bid on ebay is only 99cents. I have a lightning to hdmi so I was like sure! Also is it like super slow? I don't get it. What's so bad about it? I just mostly do League and Minecraft. Do ya think I can record 1080p 30fps with minecraft with at least a solid 80fps?

minecraft and league don't support multi-gpu's natively, so you would only be running them on a single 7970


also it is very power hungry, do you have at least a 750w power supply?
