I just had a poweroutage, when the PC reboot it shows me the american megatrends icon with bunch of text, I couldn't click on anything so I restarted it. Now my internet wont work with my Ethernet cable.
Local Area Connection
unidentified network

VMware Network Adapter VMnet1
Enabled

VMware Network Adapter VMnet8
enabled

In the main page of Ethernet, it says
No internet for all three connections when I clicked on them for status VMnet1 and 8 show Received 342, 342 and Local Area Connection Sent 3504. I have no idea what's going on, my wifi works fine, I checked the Ethernet cable on my ps4 and it's good, only my PC has this problem please help!. Btw I have a ROG maximus VII Hero.

Edit: When I first diagnosed the problem, it told me "default gateway not available", after 2 or more diagnosed it tells me "troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem". Im sweating so much right noe

Yeah, I used to have this problem a lot too and I don't know WHY it started happening. But I did this:

Go in to your "Network Connections", where it will show all your different networks and such.
Right click and go to properties.
Disable the network adapter and save.
Refresh if needed so that the network connections disappear.
Re-enable the network adapter and save.
Refresh to find your network connections.

This should connect you to your usual network.
