Hi,
Im trying to find a better PSU than my shitty 40 € that came with my PC. I tried to search in the tier list and one of the things I found was the be quiet system 8 600 W. I tested it and its better than my current which its main problem was that it causes screen whistling which doesnt happen anymore with this one. However it has two problems, the fan seems too small and 1/4 of it (more or less) is covered (pc case has a filter and a hole for the fan), would prefer a 14 cm one; and that it is not modular and I have some giant cables running around.

I was wondering if there was anything that fitted better my needs. There lots of less than 80 € modular PSUs like zalman, corsair, etc but I dont know which one to pick. Ideally it should be in amazon spain.

It should be silent too.

Thanks you very much

Solution

For a GTX960 and an i5, you might barely break 250W. A high quality PSU (such as a 520W Seasonic) will handle that easily.

Arent there something a bit cheaper? As you showed it cost 98€.

This calculator http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/ says:
Load Wattage: 363 W
Recommended PSU Wattage: 413 W

Is it okay? I tried to select a bit in excess to leave some room.

Yes, you are right:

i5 4570
8 GB RAM, 2 sticks
GTX 960
1 SSD
1 HDD, 7200 rpm
1 DVD recorder
and the usual stuff

Im a bit worried about getting the power "too tight" since I dont want the PSU to be running at full capacity when I play games and make it make a lot of noise by making the fan spinning near the max.

That with the graphics card and the cpu working at max?

The CPU alone is well under 70W peak when you don't use the IGP and the GTX960 only uses ~150W in FurMark at stock clock and voltage. Peaks might scratch 300W, which should be no problem for the M12-II which is capable of delivering 520W continuous.
