Hello, I recently upgraded from a gtx 960 to a gtx 1070, and I'm thinking of using my 960 as a phsyx card. I'm not sure if it's a good idea as it COULD bottleneck my 1070 and cause it to perform worse because it's a way worse card than the gtx 1070. Any idea if of how it would perform?

Don't know, PhysX card idea has really died and not looked at it in years. Your right the Physx card should be not be much weaker than the main card. If you have all the parts and a game that supports PhysX when not try it and see what happens?

Thanks for the input but I found a similar thread right after posting this on another forum :p. I've got my answer. It really isn't worth the extra power consumption from the framerates reported by another person.
