I want to buy Asus strix gtx 1060 can I be able to fully exploit this gpu with my specs.
My specs are:
Asus z97-k mobo.
I5 4440 CPU.
Seagate 7200rpm 1tb hdd.
Iball marathon 500w psu.
Kingston hyperx 8 gb single dimm ddr3.

Solution
Your CPU is fine, but the PSU is no good and should be replaced with a better quality unit. Check the amps on the 12v rail. Even though it claims to be a 500 watt PSU, I doubt it's anywhere near that.

Thanks for help can you suggest any other psu with the above mentioned specs I mean in terms of cheapest ones.

The BP is another one I would avoid. It's not terrible, but not intended for a gaming system. The problem with cheaper PSU's is that they often can't produce their advertised wattage and when run in a gaming system, can overheat and fail, possibly causing damage to other components because they may not have all the safety circuits.

Yes there is a bottleneck! I am using MSI GTX 1060 gaming x 6gb. Basically BF1 open beta is running at ultra settings 80-90 fps in the outskirts and drops to even 45 in close combat. These drops are very noticing and are very ugly and the game seems like running at 30 fps at that time maybe even 25 (ONLY THE FEELING). To that note.... get a gtx 1060 but also upgrade your processor I want to sell my i5 4440 and buy an i7 4790 but i5 4690 would be good also and you wouldnt waste so much money since u dont have to upgrade the whole motherboard ram and also the cpu. i5 4440 is fine for gaming with gtx 1060 but not good for Battlefield 1 as I have noticed. And these are ultra settings when set to high it is almost the same FOR ME

Seems like u are right I already bought strix 1060 and in almost every new game my processor load is 100% while playing although I am getting around 55+ fps but sometimes I feel bottleneck.

U mean I am right about the Battlefield 1? Cause if u watch a video e.g. gtx 1060 i7 6700k bf1 open beta then they don't go lower than 70 fps also with the i7 4790 or i5 4690
I want to sell my i5 4440 and buy a new cpu. If i could give u an advice try to sell it and buy an i5 4690 or i7 4790 DON'T upgrade to skylake taht would run you 200€ more. I can find the i7 4790 for 270€ in Slovakia Box version new.

Dude upgrade now is not a option. prices in my country like 2 times from us .
I just bought a strix gtx 1060 @ 500+ USD.
And can not upgrade CPU right now but may be u can if u can go for it you will not regret.
Note: Even in gta5 my gpu and CPU load are always 100%.

I would like to say that when running i5 4440 with gtx 1060 and 8 gb of ram I thought was bottlenecking. But when I realized after a LOOOONG time that using just 8 gb ram on a game (bf1 open beta) that requires at least 8 gb ram. I thought that it was bottleneck, but using 16 gb I THINK would be a lot better for these specs.
I realized this after I saw this video:

I sincerely appologize OR NOT because this is just me thinking about it when I was playing. I think it makes sense

Minimum system requirements for BF1 is an i5 6600k. Of COURSE YOUR GOING TO SEE A CPU BOTTLENECK
