I got a second hdd for my birthday. When I installed it it worked. Until I tested it with crystal disk, then my pc just shut off, no warning or blie screen. I booted it up again after draining the power and disconnecting the new hdd and it worked again, I installed 2 games on it and played dark souls 3 for 5 mina, as soon as I exited the game my pc shut off again. The next morning it shut down again when trying to access the bios and after that it when u turned it on it would boot, but would not display anything and shut itself off after 2 mins. I tried a bunch of things like using the jumper thingy to clear the cross but that didn't do anything either, after I pulled out the 24 pin mobo connector and put it back in it booted like normal, to test I fired up world of warcraft, it played fine and then the pc randomly shut down after exiting the game again.
Excuse me for the poor formatting, I'm typing this on my phone

Ps, when my pc wouldn't boot properly and wouldn't display anything the case fans also didn't work. They resumed working after the 24 pin mobo reinsertion

The psu is a corsair v1000
And the new hdd is a wd blue 1tb
Mobo is a maximus hero vi

No sadly I don't. The psu is still within its warranty though. I had similar problems months prior to the new hdd, where whenever my pc was in sleep mode it would shut down without notice when I would wake it.
