Think I bought the wrong Ram

I got a dell optiplex 980 sff
MB: mb0106, 0C522T

I bought "16GB 4x4GB DDR3-1333MHz PC3-10600R 240pin DIMM ECC RDIMM REG Memory" in a hurry... I think this is server memory, but for $20 its not a bad failed purchase...

I'm hoping to get 16gb of ram for about $30...
any suggestuins?

Yes ECC is server memory, you should be after non ECC, could always look for crucial value kits.

edit: no, these are for amd cpu :/
Its specified: does not work well with intel etc

I would fork out little more cash for a known brand of ram and that says AMD only. So not so sure. Especially as it says Not FOR DELL

I thought that was only a myth, intel and amd memory...

Its just for an HTPC so brand or not I dont think it will matter much, but it does rais a concern that it states its just for amd yes
