Hey guys,

A friend of mine asked me to help hem making a new computer. I have made a few computers so far, but still would like to have some feedback if I can make the build better.
The computer would mainly be used to game on one 1920 x 1080p monitor. But some programming and video editing would happen from time to time. He would like to spend a maximum of 1.200-1.300 euro’s on the computer build. So, I made hem this:

What is your guys feedback on this, could I make it any better, or cheaper? Does everything work together?

Thanks,
Arno.

Solution
I've kept the price the same, and added a gaming mouse, a great headset and a mechanical keyboard which should be great for typing and gaming.
I've also added an additional TB of space which your friend will want for both their work, and their games. The 250GB SSD allows them to store the OS, and key software they may use like Photoshop, Adobe Premier etc.
I've also subbed out the case for the Define S with window.
If you don't want a window, I can change it out. ;)
See the part picker link for the custom URL on the keyboard. :)

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (€203.79 @ Mindfactory)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170-HD3 ATX LGA1151...
There are some improvements to be made, some of the stuff you have selected is overpriced (PSU, motherboard, RAM, CPU cooler) or is a poor choice. (SSD is a bit small)
I'll get back to you with a build. :)
Does he need a mouse as well as a keyboard?
I assume they won't be overclocking?
They don't need a 6600k if they're not into PCs, as that's typically a pretty intensive and strenuous task for most standard users.

Solution
Build without headset, mouse and window.
Follows the same format as your original build, and works out much cheaper with better storage.
Note that with both of these builds you'll want to pick up a copy of Windows 10 too.
