Hey guys i have build my first pc recently and on my case
Cooler Master n300 i have mounted my psu facing up the case FSP Hyper M 85+Eff. 500w. I 'm using Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce 2x and an i5 6600 non k with stock cooler. Everything is plugged in place and works ok, but is it bad for the psu?
Btw my temps - CPU 24-27 idle
40-50 o3n full load.
GPU 37-40 idle and 64-67 full load. Its OC and oparating at 2Ghz.

Solution
Given a case with an opening to the outside where the PSU is,
and given that it is not on carpet...

...the PSU should be sucking air from the outside (bottom), and blowing out the back.

It's not going to kill anything, but that is the recommended config.

Great I'll probably switch it so it's facing down. Will it be an issue that i have a hairy dog and usually there's hair on the ground because he sleeps about 70-80cm away from the pc ?
P.S I regularly clean my pc from dust and hair (Once a week).

Just have to monitor the situation. See how it goes.

Changed it up. As expected GPU temps went up by 3-4 degrees, but PSU on touch seems cooler. I guess this way is better i cranked the fan by 3-4% on the GPU to compensate and now the PSU doesn't get hot air fed to it ! Thank's again USAFRet !!
