I'm trying to plan out my pc build, and I'm picking my Gpu but I don't know which path to go.

Games I play: League of Legends, Smite, Team Fortress 2, roblox (Its still a good game). I make videos for YouTube too

Solution
I'd recommend an RX 470 4GB - you don't need as much performance as found in the GTX 1060 or the RX 480.

Spend less money and still have a card that can hit well over 100 fps on max settings in League of Legends... https://youtu.be/GeKcf0OVfZ8

As said above, the CPU matters as well - what CPU do you have ?

No problem, crossfire is AMDs interface for dual GPU rigs, and SLI is Nvidias counterpart.
As the cards get older, there will be newer (better) cards. Adding another latter on is a cheaper way of keeping up with new titles.

I wouldn't worry about crossfire/sli, it makes little sense with the lower end gpu's. When you want to upgrade sell what you have and buy a better single card. Multi gpu setups come with potential problems, not all games support it and the drivers are not always good, especially for crossfire.

In the games you list the 1060 is currently more powerful. There is some debate about the next gen games and which gpu will be better. Both cards are new and I would expect driver improvements from both sides. If me I'd opt for the 1060, it does better in 95% of the games out today.

Id only consider the 1060 6gb, not the 3gb. If it was between the 480 and a 1060 3gb Id take the 480

That's not what I meant, I'm trying to say that you can spend less money and still get good performance on those game in particular.

I just want a gpu that can run 100fps+ in high settings. I lag like crap during team fights in LoL.

You'll get far more than 100 fps with that card, either of the,. but the RX480 is the better choice because it offers moe dependability in the future.

those games can run on a potato, a 460 will max them out

as far as getting over 100 fps, cpu matters more in online games

Its way overkill for LoL, my 1060 usually runs over 400fps in LoL at max settings @ 1440p.
