Hey guys, I want to upgrade my working station to 32GB of RAM.

My current configuration:
ASRock Z87 EXTREME4, Z87
Intel CORE I7-4770K, 3.5GHz, 8MB
Patriot 16 GB 2133MHZ PV316G2133C1KBL (11-11-11-30).

Unfortunately my current Patriot is not available anymore and Patriot ViperX 3RD 2x8GB DDR3 2133MHz CL11 1.5V, XMP 1.3 Dual Channel PV316G213C1K (11-11-11-30) which I bought didn't work well together - I had to give it back.
Now I'm thinking of buying: G.Skill RipjawsX X79 DDR3 4x8GB 1866MHz CL9 XMP F3-1866C9Q-32GXM (9-10-9-28 2N) http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-1866c9q-32gxm (it's compatible with my MB) but I read somwhere it's dedicated for 2nd and 3rd generation CPU - is it true? What would I loose from performence? Should I look for some more expensive solution "dedicated for 4th generation Intel Core"?
Any recomendation? I don't play games, only CAD design.

Solution
No, it will be fine, the RipJaws X are actually designed towards dual channel mobos, their Ripjaws Z line was targeted at X79 and quad channel operations (timings wise (secondary). The RJ X will be fine, might even think of looking to 2133 sticks
