i finished assembling my pc but it dont run?

I'm upgrading my PC so I bought new motherboard (Asus z170-a) new case(Zalman z3 plus) and new power supply (Corsair 550W ATX) with all my saved money, when I finished late this night I plug the power cable , the fans show led lights and spin to show its working (I connect it to the power supply), the motherboard give me lights nothing wrong ( I checked the light signals from the guide), my front power button show light, however when I press the power to button nothing start I tried to use the inside motherboard power button but noting happens, btw my DVD/Blu-ray driver don't open but it fills space for driver so the machine won't start and shut down after few seconds, do I need to buy new one and use the Asus motherboard cd? or did I plug something wrong?

I sent my PC to a friend who work in a computer shop, he told me to pick it after 2 days, if he told me he can't do anything or he doesn't know I will try booting it outside the case, thank you for responding.

yes I used my old intel core i7 (i noticed a bend is some of its corners but it still works in my old motherboard) and bought one stick ddr4 ram 8gb
