Haven't built a PC in 6 years. upgrading from an i7 860 2.8ghz. Want to build a 6700k Z170 system primarily for Photoshop/Lightroom.
like I said I do zero gaming. I'm on a budget. Currently I have a lot of USB devices, scanners, printers, then USB 3.0 external harddrives.
I have been going through all the specs, but there are SO MANY Z170 boards. the Asus Z170-A comes up a lot when i search.
At first, to keep my cost down, I will use the onboard video. Later add a 1060.
Can anyone suggest a budget board $150 or less that has the most USB ports.
I probably wont be upgrading again for awhile, so it would be nice to have m.2 and maybe USB 3.1.
Any help would be appreciated.
