I have a 6770k. And randomly the computer would just frezze up. i can move my mouse so i went to task manger to see what up. Cpu, Hdd, Mermory was normal so im really confused on what the issue is. I was thinking cpu but i don't have my overclock setting because it was crashing my computer.

Solution
try increasing the memory controller voltage by 0.05v and see if this stabilizes the system. test using steam, internet and gaming.
If running XMP settings for the ram try running the standard speed and timings and test, test using steam, gaming and internet.

Had a typo in the post also. LOL freeze is the proper spelling.

run a full suite of stability test programs consisting of:
Memtest86+: run for 3 passes minimum (tests Ram) Run this first!!!
Prime95: run on blend for a minimum of 2 hours to start. (tests CPU and ram)
Intel Burn Test: run for 20 runs on maximum stress (tests CPU and ram)
OCCT: run GPU test with error checking enabled for 30 mins minimum ( tests GPU)
HDDscan 3.3: run disk error test (tests HDD'd and SSD's)

Just finshed all the test. I got 3 passes on Memtest86. Prime95 ran really good no issues and the same gose for Intel Burn Test. OCCT is giving me a error called Confiugation system failed to initalize. The disk had no errors

for memtest, did it have errors? it would have turned red on the second half of the screen.
Prime 95, did any core stop before the others?
Intel Burn Test will of told you if the system is unstable with a pop up.
don't worry about OCCT at the moment, we can come back to that if necessary.

What program are you using when it seems to freeze? Does it do it on all programs?

The last time it froze i was using steam. Memtest had 0 errors and the half of the screen never turned red. All the cores stopped at the same time. Intel burn test said that it was stable. I forgot to add this is a clean install of windows

Ok it is starting to sound like a software issue then and not hardware.
what were you doing in steam? just browsing the store, chatting, Playing a game?
Did you install the latest drivers for your GPU?
please give full system specs. This way we know what hardware is being used.
