All I see is the screen that says failure configuring widows update. Reverting changes do not turn off your computer. 6 hours

All I see is failure configuring widows update reverting changes do not turn off your computer. 6 hours now. MAKE IT STOP

Go to the Windows update list, uncheck everything. Check things off maybe 10 at a time, install them that way, it should go through. It may be stuck at a few setups, usually .NET ones, uncheck those, run the rest.

I have the same problem on my Toshiba satellite. Same screen appears and nothing I can do to make it go away so I can untick the updates. I couldnt get past that screen which is what I need to do to go to the update list.
