Hi! So I'm trying to clean out the dust out of my laptop, I've tried using compressed air through the vent but unfortunately that just made the laptop even slower =( It made Overwatch go from 30 fps to 10 fps. (Does anyone know what happened here?), but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to take off the backside and actually manually clean out the dust. I've included some pictures, if you guys could help, I'd really appreciate it so very much! Thank you!

under those rubber feet there are screws. using the tip of a pocket knife you can get them out without ruining them. as for the FPS drop I am thinking perhaps the dust ended up moving and blocking more airflow, and thus more throttling. also you will need to pop out the keyboard ( make sure you know exactly how to search you laptop name and teardown in youtube to see how) to get to some more screws holding on the back.

Thank you so much for this! I'll check under them tomorrow morning as I'll be getting home late today and plan on sleeping.
I really appreciate the help!

If anyone has anything else to add I'd really appreciate it as well!

Thank you so much!

just make sure you do not lose the screws! and really make sure to take care to understand what goes where so that putting it back together is not a challenge. that and take your time listen to music and if you get frustrated take a break, laptops are not very user friendly to take apart so some things can be a real pain.

With your help I took it apart, cleaned it and put it back together, however now Overwatch goes from 10 Fps to 30 Fps and it switches between instead of just the constant 10 fps earlier, which is really irritating. I'm really confused as to why it was a constant 30 fps before I cleaned it with Compressed Air. I made sure not to do it so the fan spins too fast, and I did it in very small bursts, I clouds of dust come out and I assumed that would make it run better, but nope. It made it run worse.

Either way, Thank you so much for your help!
