I am looking to design and build a custom backpack for housing a pc capable of running a vive. Price is not really an issue, although I would rather stay under $2000. The hardware I was thinking of would be a Nvidia 1080, one of the new Kaby Lake Intel CPUs, and an atx motherboard. the case would be custom designe and built, and I was thinking of using hard tubed liquid cooling to avoid bulky fans and heat sinks. For hard drives, the OS drive would probably be an m2 drive, and the second drive for the games would be some form of SSD. The Vive would also need to be powered.

My Two questions are as follows:
1. Would a liquid cooling system be able to handle the movement from a person twisting, walking, and ducking while playing a VR game.

2. How powerful a battery pack would I nee, and what would be the easiest/most efficient way to hook up the battery?

There seems to be little in the way of documentation of running a desktop on a battery, but the battery would only need to last for an hour or so. Also, I do not want to buy a laptop.

Solution
Well for 1 it deoends. Do you think the loop with water inside would enjoy constantly swishing around a weight changing?

As for a battery, you should probably start looking at what laptops use and go from there. Best bet I would assume.
