Hi,

Before i did a bios firmware upgrade and fresh install of Windows 10, after the ROG bios splash screen, the ROG logo used to appear instead of the Windows logo while booting the operating system.

Now its been replaced with the standard windows and spinny wheel and I don't have the sexy looking ROG logo any more and it was a really nice touch... Anybody know a way i can get that back?

Solution
Updating anyone that comes across this post and in need of help... That fixed it for me.

When you load the Windows OS installer from bootable USB or DVD or whatever. Choose UEFI:"Drive to install from" instead of just "Drive to install from"...

UEFI also enables more control of the hardware (from what ive read) but i didnt notice any boot time performance difference IMO (I am using a Samsung 950 pro m.2 512Gb though which is lightning fast) but it is probably worth reading up on UEFI installing andsthe benifits separately yourself.

Hope this helps someone!
OK, i read here (https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?78380-Windows-10-loading-screen-with-ROG-logo-instead-of-just-during-powerup-solved) that:

Disable CSM from bios , if your installation is UEFI based it will work and you will have quick boot with ROG logo sending you directly to login screen.

Hope it helps!

Cheers! It did...

Done some research off the back of that and figured out that i'm an idiot! Didnt install the OS from the UEFI bootloader off the USB. Confirmed by booting my Windows USB in UEFI bootloader mode and boom! Its back. So i can assume that when I do a reinstall of windows 10 from the UEFI bootloader off the USB, it should be back?... lets find out.

Will update soon. Thanks for the help.
