For some reason my bf4 will be running just fine but then out of no where, it will start stuttering and dropping to 10 fps.
Pc Specs: cpu-Fx 4300@4.1ghz
Gpu- evga gtx 960 2 gb ftw.
Hdd- 500gb@7200rpm.
Ram- 4gb ddr3 @1600mhz
Psu-600 watt
Motherboard-760-gmaP34 (fx)

Could be the weak CPU. Could be thermals. What's the temps in game? Does CPU max when fps drops?

Could also be the 4gb ram...not really enough.

POSSIBLY lack of VRAM...i remember bf4 liking more than 2gb.
