this is the build i am going to buy https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Willehei/saved/cbRsYJ
I already got the graphics card and a harddrive with windows 10 retail
So i am wondering if it will work if i just put everything together?
I've read somewhere that i have to buy a new operating system, is that true?
and what h81 bios update is it that i have to install?
what do I have to do with my harddrive before i put this build together?

Solution
Motherboard is compatible with Windows 10.

You will have to contact Microsoft and have your product key ready to transfer to the new motherboard.

Will these components work together? Yes, but your chosen power supply is not the greatest quality. If you want EVGA, stick to the G2/GS/P2/T2 series.

The newest BIOS update.

Wipe the drive before attempting to install to it. This will avoid any software conflicts. Please back up any important data before wiping it.
