Hello,
I'm new to PC-building and this is my first (game) PC I'm gonna build.
I've put a lot of reasearch into this but im still unsecure about this PC.
I still don't know if everything is compatible with each other.
Please also tell me if I forgot anything that I need to build a PC.
You can also tell me any recommended components instead of the one I have right now selected.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0 Ghz

GPU: R9 380X Sapphire Nitro 4GB

Motherboard: MSI Z170A SLI PLUS

Ram: Kingston Fury HyperX DDR4 2400Mhz 16Gb kit

SSD: Toshiba OCZ Trion 150 120GB

HDD: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache

Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC-02

PSU: Dont know exactly wich one but it has 650 W for sure

normally yes
but it doesn't make much sense buying an i7 and pairing it with a 4GB R9 280 imo
also the PSU makes all the difference, better look up which one it is
furthermore you're lacking a CPU cooler since the 6700k comes without one. I advise on a Cryorig H7

personally I'd get an i5-6600k + Cryorig H7 and a newer GPU like the GTX 1060

Yeah, all's good. everything is compatible.
But I suggest you get a RX 470, for the price it will be better than that 380X.
Other than that, the CPU is (right now) overkill and the spare budget would be best goes into the graphics card (if you're into gaming).
Also, make sure the PSU is good and reliable.

Don't get the i7 6700k, for your budget it doesn't make any sense. Agreed with turkey-scratch, i5 6500 + h170 cheap mobo + gtx 1070 is the best combo.
That is, unless money isn't an issue, in which case, you should just upgrade the GPU. For solely gaming purposes it doesn't make much sense to outspend the GPU with the CPU

I can get the CPU, Motherboard and the RAM from a friend for a 40 dollar higher price then what I would buy first:
(What I would buy without the deal form my friend)
I5-6500 3.2 Ghz
H170 board
Kingston HyperX FURY Black 8GB Kit

And yes, I have been thinking about buying RX 470 instead of 380X.
And I'll make sure the PSU is good and not scrap.

I would think that the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 650W would be a good choice.
Which PSU would you recommend with the build you recommended?
