Windows 7 setup problems

Hi! Trying to install win 7 on old crap Lenovo Equium. Made bootable usb with rufus fat32. Copied win 7 files. In boot section in bios set a correct boot order. But problem is that usb is booting up in FreeDos so i can type commands.

For example , if i type command "dir" then the list of windows files that on usb stick are displayed. Is there any command that boots windows setup ?

What do you mean copied win 7 files? is that the windows installation iso? or something else?

No , i copied files from windows installation disk. Booting windows setup up on other pc btw.

I will try to format usb in ntfs instead of fat 32.

Copying the Windows files isn't going to help as the USB drive needs to be made bootable. Rufus can do this.
