ASUS RX 470 STRIX OC/Fan Help

Hello everyone, Finally got the card working smoothly, and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on boosting performance. I read online in a review that the card works much better with increased fan speed/decreased power limit, stuff like that, and I was wondering if anyone could help me get the most out of the card. if you want faster performance why not getting much faster card?

then try overclocking it. but remember overclocking is not guaranteed. there is case one card cannot be overclocked by even 10mhz. not even with overvolt. usually you can OC the card to certain degrees without touching the voltage at all. and be careful if you start playing around with over volt. and when overclocking better use more aggressive fan curve as well to keep the gpu cool. the gpu probably is not much of an issue but VRM might. or else you might end up like me.

if you already satisfy with the performance no need to touch OC at all.

If you've got the Strix, it should've come with GPU Tweak. If you enable the advance settings, it's really easy to set custom fan profiles and to increase the clock speeds and voltage.....but slowly work your way into it, don't just put everything to max....it will crash if you do.
