Graphics card is stuck

Hello guys so...
2 and a half weeks ago, I replaced under warranty from gtx 760 to gtx 960.
now, after 2 weeks i wanted to try and remove the GPU to get some pictures of it and try to sell it.
No matter what i've tried to do, i couldn't press down the latch to pull the graphics card out.
please help ?

check ur motherboard manual...its not that difficult unless there is some structural damage...

I don't understand..
but the problem is .. i remove the screws.. and the power cable..
i try to press down the latch, it's impossible.

did u apply too much pressure when installing it??? does the latch look fine visually???

Uhh, try pushing the front of the card in (where the video outputs are) and then press the lever down, and try pulling upwards as well, it should kick it up a bit.

go to a professional store in ur vicinity and let them do it...thy wont chrg u anythng for doin tht...

i’ll go to my warranty store in few days..
But in case the latch is broken a little bit.. What are they gonna do?

the latch is of not much use as far as i have heard...never experienced personally though...u can find more here...

as for the fix, m not sure whether a pcie16 latch is repairable...talk to ur motherboard manufacturer customer care and see wat thy say...

well i don't think it's a motherboard manufacturer customer.. it's the company i bought the pc from ..
i have warranty for another 11 months from them.

The graphics card is working fine .. it's fully in the slot ..
but what if i wanna sell the card to someone ?
i need to remove the gpu from the slot .. lol

you could purposefully break the lever, as previously stated, it really doesn't do anything.

Are you sure it's not a.... slide lever? where you have to pull it back and not push it down?

I'm 100 % sure .. dude
my level is 1 sided to push it down..
and no matter what i do .. i just can't press it down

screwdriver + hammer, give it some light taps that increase in strength till it either lets go or breaks off.

when u sell it, just sell the entire pc...or go to a professional store and let them do it...they wont charge u anything for this...

maybe i don't wanna sell the entire pc ?
cause if i sell the entire pc .. i don't have money to add so i can buy new good pc ..

u can try the above screwdriver + hammer suggestion if u want it that bad...not sure how much it will work as i never tried it personally...or as i mentioned, go to a professional store and seek their assistance...

have you tried taking the motherboard with GPU still attached out of the case? so you can get a better view/angle on it?

i prefer not messig with that..
as i'm not a computer technician ..
in a few days i'll go to the store i have warranty in ..
and i hope they'll fix something ..
if i have more warranty for the motherboard..
they might put a new 1?
