My graphics card shows up in device manager but my PC uses intel graphics

Just recently, I have noticed that I got close to 5 frames on my PC games, which is when I realised that my PC is no longer using my graphics card, its using intel integrated graphics. Does this mean that my graphics card may be broken for whatever reason, or is there a way I can resolve this.

All help is appreciated

The light turns on, I have the updated drivers and I haven't updated my BIOS

U just figured it out before I saw you're comment, I realised I plugged the DVI cable into my MOBO slot and not the Graphics card slot. Works fine now
