Hello, so i have a problem, i bought a new GPU Zotac geforce gtx 980ti amp extreme edition, my old gpu was Radeon HD 7950 3GB. When i started use my new GPU, my cpu heat reached 76 degrees. So i thought maybe im using Ultra graphics so everything is heating up, but after setting all settings on low my cpu heat not changed at all! what can be wrong ? Tested game Overwatch.

Maybe my power supply is not to strong to deal with the new GPU ? and not enough power for cpu ? Power supply 700W.

SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH!!!

Solution
I am assuming you are using an air cooler on the CPU. And is the graphics card model you have a reference or third party? In other words, where does the hot air go? Did that change? Check to make sure all your fans are working as well. Reseat CPU. Try running with an open case to verify air flow. There is no reason for the GPU to make the CPU run hotter unless more hot air is being addressed by the CPU cooler. You may want to reset your BOIS jsut in case a temp sensor went burp.
