New mouse or new graphics card? (advice)

I don't know whether to save more of my money and buy a GTX 1070, or use the majority of current savings on a Logitech G900 Wireless Mouse, and an extended mouse pad.
I already own a GTX 970 strix, and the mouse I have currently is a Gamdias laser gaming mouse.
I'd like to know which you think is the more worthwhile investment?

What monitor resolution are you currently running? That will determine whether or not the GPU upgrade is needed.

1080p now, may want to upgrade to 1440p or may 4k in a year or so.However, I'm not a big fan of the strix cooler as it gets very hot on idle.

I'd go for a new monitor before going for a new GPU first. A 970 will max out everything at 1080P and should handle 1440P just fine. If you upgrade to 4K then a new GPU will be warranted.

Unless you really need it, I would say just save your money. I'm not a big fan of wireless peripherals to begin with.
