Hello,
I have a system that I just built but the bad thing was that I got dead hard drive. I was temporary using an external hard drive and my bootable drive by using win to usb. I finally got a hard that is working and was about to clone my external to my internal hard drive. When doing so I notice that my external drive has two drives, one has my regular disk drive and the second is the drive that is booted from called wintousb and its a virtual disk. When i look at the original drive it had wintousb hard disk imagine file, so my question is when I clone my drive should the source file be the virtual disk or the regular disk?

Solution
Given all that, I would just do a full reinstall on the new internal HDD.

Cloning can be good, but it is not a panacea for everything and every config.

If you try the clone thing, I would say the virtual thing.
Which one has a modified date of 'today'?

What config differences exist between a regular OS install on an internal, and this 'win to usb.'?
What specific OS is this?
