Hi,

I just recently built my first PC and I'm having issues getting it to turn on.

Motherboard: ASUS Z170-A
Power supply: Rosewill Hive 750W
Case: DIYPC Zondda

I have everything connected to the motherboard and the power LED (+), (-), and PWR SW cables are all connected in the bottom right hand corner. When I turn the power supply on the PWR_LED light comes on, however there is no response from the button on the case being pushed. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the case or something with the power supply or motherboard. I would appreciate any insight as to what my issue might be.

Solution
try the mb outside the case with one ram stick and onboard video if it posts fine with the power supply check the bios rev. if it old use a usb stick and update it.

CPU is an LGA 1151
All the pins for the power supply are connected, however the power supply I bought came with the 24 pin and 2 of the 8 pin, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I've tried switching the different 8 pin cables with no change.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue with this motherboard. It will start if I press the power button on the motherboard, but the power button on the case does nothing. I've shorted the pins.. Nothing! So the only way to start it, is pull off the cover and pwr_sw button on the motherboard.
