Solution
Basic OC'ing...
First, get yourself a good quality after-market cooler. Then enter BIOS and disable Turbo Mode. Increase the CPU multiplier one click. Save and exit to Win. Run a CPU stress testing pgm and watch temps. If all is good, repeat.

When you eventually get an unstable result (assuming temps are still good), increase the vcore by as small an increment as allowed. Save and repeat testing. If still unstable, increase the vcore again. Stay below 1.5V for safest results. If/when you get a stable result, you may be able to take the multi higher.
The FX-6350 is not a great OC'er. So don't expect too much. Mine managed 4.7 GHz, but it wasn't 100% stable.

sounds simple enough thank you! which cooler do you recomend? what should i look for (what makes the stock cpu cooler not good enough)

and is there a stress test program you recommend?
