Computer turns on but won't beep, run fans, run hdd, or connect with monitor

I have spent five hours working on my first PC build after completely deconstructing it and putting it back together got the leds on the front to power on but it doesn't make any noise, run any fans or the hdd and when I try to connect it to my monitor it just keeps saying no signal. I've tried everything including the sticky checklist that everyone points you to and still can't get anything. I'm about to have a breakdown with this thing and I don't think crying in the case is going to help!

Try testing the board outside the case, both 24 and 4 pin power cables connected, CPU and CPU fan installed. See if the CPU fan does spin.

Alright I tried it and the cpu fan turned on and it beeped. does this mean that the case is shorting out the mobo because I have all the risers in correctly but the case is pretty cheap so maybe it's just formed incorrectly?

Edit: Figured it out! I had an extra cable plugged into the mobo that was messing it up, thanks for your help though!
