I'm confused on what I would need to get good mic quality

Almost every gaming headset I've owned has had a hiss, and I expect them too. This type of audio quality was fine ,but now I would like something better. At the moment I have the Hyperx cloud revolver and one question I have is if I used an audio interface such as http:// or http:// how much better would it make the mic on my headset. I understand that I need some sort of pre-amp for my mic, because higher hardware gain and less software gain equals better quality. Buying an audio interface would be good for the future ,but I dont think I have the money to spend on it.

But an other option is some sort of cheap sound card.

Another option I have is to buy a condenser mic that sounds great off the bat, without the need of an audio interface.

tl;dr
I'm not sure if I should get a cheap external sound card to make my headset mic sound better
or
get an audio interface for my headset mic or future microphone
or
find a microphone that sounds good off the bat

Any insight or suggestions would be very appreciated. Thank you very much.

I think the usb one will be perfect for you cause it is usually plug and play for basic/standard use

I thought about the Blue Yeti because its usb and has some inbuilt amps ,but if i used an xlr mic, I would have to get an audio interface.
